Welcome to the SOMLA Conference 2025, themed "Bridging Young Readers to Forever Readers." I am delighted to introduce myself as Sandy Keaton, the Chair of the State of Maryland Literacy Association's annual conference. As an affiliate of the International Literacy Association, our goal is to provide a platform for educators to expand their knowledge and connect with like-minded professionals.
